PREP students enjoy SwampFox basketball

Students in Waycross College’s Post-Secondary Readiness Enrichment Program (PREP) gather for a group picture with members of WC’s men’s basketball team following the SwampFoxes’ 94-60 win over Naval Station Mayport Feb. 5. According to Angela Holland-Wasdin, assistant director for student support at WC, 61 students from Brantley, Clinch, Pierce, and Ware counties attended the game and everyone enjoyed cheering the SwampFoxes to victory. PREP, an academic and outreach initiative designed to prepare middle and high school students and their families for post-secondary education, was started at WC in 1996.
