Robert “Bob” Davis (left) of Ware County was awarded the coveted President’s Cup during Waycross College’s Honors Convocation April 30. The cup is presented to the sophomore student enrolled in spring semester who achieves the highest cumulative grade point average on the greatest number of hours, above 30, earned at the college. Dr. Mark Van Den Hende, vice president and dean for academic affairs, presented Davis with his award.
Waycross College has been a proud member of the University System of Georgia since the college’s founding in 1976.
